Before Recording

• Grant camera and microphone permission when iOS asks.
• Check free storage and battery before long recordings.
• Enable Do Not Disturb manually in Control Center before important recordings.
• Use headphones or an external audio interface before enabling audio monitoring.

Using The App Without Login

You can record without signing in. Videos remain on your device and will not upload automatically. Sign in only when you want to list StartStop events, upload a recording, or check remote processing status.

Uploads

• Solo recordings upload through the StartStop processing flow when an event is selected.
• Multi-iPhone recordings upload to StartStop storage so each device clip can remain grouped in the same project.
• If an upload fails, open the Library and use retry or checksum validation from the item actions.

Streaming

Streaming destinations must be configured by the user. RTMP uses a server URL and stream key. SRT Caller requires a reachable listener address. NDI publishes a source on the local network and does not use a URL in the same way as RTMP or SRT.
